From the limbo rises a familiar complaint
Turning into an infernal choir
A funeral oration to mock a fate without flavor
Endless cackling gives rhythm to the butchering of extinguished souls
A last howl torn from the life of a fool.
The wings of Icarus were not the loophole
For the true path to follow was always from below
Deep in the maze resounds the call of the Great Mother
Between her lips is the true way out.
Ten fingers planted in the consecrated ground
A labor whose fruit begat the firsts of the sons.
Thus in pain and earth they were bound
Iron, hammer and anvil of the eon
From seeds to bones
From womb to grave
From renewal to sempiternal death
Archaic and fundamental art
Practiced by watchers on the threshold
With one of their hand they create
With the other they annihilate
Ten fingers planted in the consecrated ground
A labor whose fruit begat the firsts of the sons.
Thus in pain and earth they were bound
Iron, hammer and anvil of the eon.
From seeds to bones
From womb to grave
From renewal to sempiternal death
From the limbo rises a familiar complaint
Turning into an infernal choir
A funeral oration to mock a fate without flavor
Endless cackling gives rhythm to the butchering of extinguished souls
A last howl torn from the life of a fool.
Ten fingers planted in the consecrated ground
A labor whose fruit begat the firsts of the sons.
Thus in pain and earth they were bound
Iron, hammer and anvil of the eon.
From seeds to bones
From womb to grave
From renewal to sempiternal death
I really cant pick a favorite track, this whole album kicks so much ass with its intensity and ferocity from beginning to end. Definitely a new favorite artist. Really gives off Necrophobic vibes with the melodies and atmosphere. Andrés Salas
Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
