« He who sees through the shadow body of things and
into the flaming night of the images. He himself is destiny.
He himself is Gorgonic dread”. (Ludwig Klages)
A man haunted by Night itself!
His eyes seized by the hidden ones
He crawls out of perdition grounds
He walks now without his crown
Howling truth of the Hinterland
Harbinger of the deepest fear
That strikes the hearts of the rotted ones
A trail of blood leads monstrous things
To a feast – a sinister communion
Dissection of the ego – dissolution of a hero
Till nausea devoured and spit out to the ether void
He who sees through the shadow body of things
and into the flaming night of the images.
He himself is destiny.
He himself is Gorgonic dread
A man haunted by night itself!
His eyes seized by the hidden ones
He crawls out of perdition grounds
He walks now without his crown
Howling truth off the Hinterland
Harbinger of the deepest fear
That strikes the hearts of the rotted ones
A trail of blood leads monstrous things
To a feast – a sinister communion
Dissection of the ego – dissolution of a hero
Till nausea devoured and spit out to the ether void
INHALE – EXHALE – UNBIND – MONSTROUS – SOUL
Now inhale, exhale, liberate – your – monstrous – souls
I really cant pick a favorite track, this whole album kicks so much ass with its intensity and ferocity from beginning to end. Definitely a new favorite artist. Really gives off Necrophobic vibes with the melodies and atmosphere. Andrés Salas
Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
